Alerted authorities seized this poor 14 yr old girl after being left in the basement of the owner BY the owner to just let her die. It was a horrific rollercoaster but this girl was simply not ready to leave this world! She beat the odds with the most horrendous bloodwork, a large..most likely cancerous tumor but she knew what love and good care were so we just kept on getting her healthy and flooding her with love, medical and lots of gifts as well as prayers for her fight to keep on going! Ruby left us recently on her own and in her own way. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy and she will live on forever in our hearts. Happy Tails Last Sunday, Kasa, Sydney and Rio went on a field trip to the Big Ugly Brewery in Chesapeake, Virginia. We are so grateful to this brewery for being so dog-friendly! Not only does it help gain exposure for our adoptable dogs and puppies, it also helps the fur kids with socialization and getting used to being out and about. And you never know who might be there and be looking to adopt. We are learning to expand our horizons about adoption events and have found that thinking outside of the box is a win-win for everyone involved.
